Associate Psychologist – Adult Disability Services
This position is for the role of an associate psychologist working with adults with developmental disabilities and other special needs in the Adult Disability setting (i.e., Day Activity Centre, Sheltered Workshop or Residential Home). This role aims to provide psychological services within an Adult Residential Home to individual clients presenting with behavioural issues and/ or mental health concerns, and professional consultation to the staff and caregivers who support our clients. You will be working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team within the social service agency (SSA).
Responsibilities
1. Conduct Psychological Assessments
Conduct various psychological assessments to facilitate vocational, educational and other placements, and assessments of cognitive functioning, under supervision
Conduct various psychological assessment as part of routine implementation and progress monitoring
Prepare assessment reports
2. Deliver Intervention
Provide intervention as part of the multi-disciplinary/ transdisciplinary team to support individuals with common behavioural concerns and/or complex needs
Participate in transition-planning, case management, routine care-planning and meetings as part of the multi-disciplinary team
Working with SSA staff, allied health professionals and caregivers to better support needs through professional consultation and case discussions
3. Build stakeholder relationships or capacity
Co-design and implement individual and group programmes and interventions catered to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs, inclusive of Positive Behaviour Support and other systemic supports
Create and support training to help equip staff and caregivers in relevant areas for supporting clients in SSA and community settings
4. Uplift professional practice in psychology
Provide peer consultation to other allied health professionals
Participate, facilitate and present in CPH professional development platforms for knowledge-sharing and enhancement of professional skills
5. Others
Provide administrative duties relevant to clinical practices and as required of the SSA
Attend CPH meetings and events when necessary
Prepare and submit monthly reports, i.e., monthly KPI tracking as required
Carry out any other duties as assigned by reporting officer or Management
6. Self-development
Attend CPH/SSA endorsed training/workshops/seminars so as to develop relevant knowledge and skills
Receive formal supervision from CPH’s approved supervisors as part of professional development
Requirements
1. Educational qualifications and work experience
Minimum of Honours degree in Psychology
2. Experience
Relevant experience working with either children or adults with developmental disabilities and/ or providing psychological services in similar settings (i.e., SPED, social services sector) will be an advantage
Experience in administering psychoeducational assessment tools and providing intervention based on Positive Behaviour Support is preferable.

Psychologist – DSLS (Early Intervention)
You will be deployed to a SSA for 4 days a week to provide innovative and quality psychological care to our clients and their families in the Development Support (DS) and Learning Support (LS) Programme (DSLS). Working in a multi-disciplinary setting, you will also conduct psychoeducational programmes and training for other professionals to enable quality care and services.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct Psychological Assessments
Coordinate and conduct formal and informal psychological assessments, including standardised tests e.g., school placement assessments (SPAs)
Prepare assessment reports for routine cases
Conduct intake assessments to determine child’s strengths and needs, and/or regular assessments for progress monitoring
2. Deliver Intervention
Work in a multi-disciplinary team comprising teachers and other professionals such as social workers and speech therapists to co-develop and implement evidence-based and data-driven intervention plans (such as emotional and behaviour management, and social skills training), as well as to conduct home visits when necessary
Deliver short-term direct intervention work for children at various centres throughout the year, working closely with various stakeholders
3. Deliver psychological programmes and services. This may include:
Guide staff and parents/caregivers in implementing emotional, learning and behavioural evidence-based interventions, customised to the needs of individual child
Maintain timely and accurate records of students and to maintain regular contact with the child’s family when required
Conduct transitional planning from one educational setting to another
Provide intervention for caregivers, where needed
4. Build stakeholder relationships or capacity
Provide evidence-based input for program/policy improvements
Provide consultation for parents, teachers, caregivers and other stakeholders to improve child outcomes as well as enhance the child’s learning and development
5. Uplift professional practice in psychology
Assist in the delivery of training programmes as part of continuing professional development
Deliver psychoeducation programmes for staff and caregivers
Identify areas of improvement in models of client care and services based on evidence-based practices
Perform data collection and analysis to support research e.g., programme evaluation for new initiatives/programs introduced in the SSA
Provide guidance to peers and interns
Attain SRP status or its equivalent (within first two years of appointment as Psychologist)
Assist in the delivery of training (clinical seminars, clinical workshops) for psychologists and/or other professionals in the social service sector
Present, facilitate and participate in CPH professional development platforms for knowledge-sharing and to hone clinical skills
6. Administrative Duties
Attend and assist with group meetings, chair and/or present at the meetings when necessary
Assist in the planning and implementation of SSA activities as assigned
Attend CPH meetings and events when necessary
Prepare and submit reports e.g., monthly KPI tracking as required

Experience in clinical settings and/or working with/in SSAs will be an advantage

Principal Clinical Psychologist – Psychological Services
You will be working with the service management team at FSP (Family Support Division, MSF) to design, implement, manage, and review services to support couples and families who faced stressors and challenges in their marriage and family life journey. The service management team also participates in policy discussions led by the policy teams from other MSF divisions and government agencies to provide views on operational angle. On a day-today basis, you will partner divisions in MSF, the Family Justice Courts, the Syariah Court and social service agencies (SSAs) to develop solutions in the best interest of these families.
Responsibilities
Ensure smooth operations at MSF-appointed SSAs through providing consultation and clinical guidance in handling complex high-conflict family situations.
Support case discussions and conferences for complex cases and provide clinical insights to case formulation and intervention
Oversee, facilitate and coordinate community of practice platforms for MSF-appointed SSAs to foster shared learning and competency building in working with divorcing or divorced families.
Develop and roll out of programme initiatives and practice guidelines for MSF-appointed SSAs in managing divorcing or divorced high-conflict family cases.
Design and conduct monitoring and evaluation activities to assess programme outcomes and effectiveness for continuous improvement.
Engage and liaise with stakeholders and partners including family courts, legal aid services and community organisations to enhance service and programme delivery.
Requirements
1. Educational qualifications
A recognised Masters’ degree in Psychology (preferably Clinical). The programme must include a supervised practicum and supervised training in psychological assessment and intervention.

Senior Psychologist – AD ESLP Technical Assistance
This position is for the role of a senior psychologist working with adults with developmental disabilities and other special needs in the Adult Disability (AD) setting. This role aims to provide psychological services to individual clients presenting with behavioural issues and/ or mental health concerns vis-a-via consultancy, training and coaching to the staff and caregivers who support our clients. Specifically, this role is part of a pilot project looking at redefining programmes within the Adult Disability setting to create a continuum of service across the lifespan, and to generalise interventions and learnings from current services into the home setting. You will be working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team within the social service agency (SSA) and with the core technical assistance team at CPH. Your role will primarily be to support capability-building through training and coaching of the Master Trainer (MT), fellow allied health professionals (AHPs) and senior/ training officers (STOs/ TOs) of the SSA onsite.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct Psychological Assessments
Assess fidelity of MT/AHP/STOs in delivering staff training on Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Practice-Based Coaching (PBC) practices
Establish inter-rater reliability with SSAs to assess fidelity of staff in both PBS technical skills and PBC across 3 years
Be part of review panel for eligibility criteria and inter-rater reliability of relevant assessment tool within the ESLP
2. Deliver Coaching/Intervention
Develop training material on PBS strategies, and co-deliver staff training alongside MT/AHP for other staff within the SSAs
Establish and expand coaching structure for MT/AHP/STOs within SSAs and conduct fidelity checks in both PBS technical skills and PBC across 3 years
Participate in routine care-planning, progress monitoring, and meetings as part of the multi-disciplinary team as necessitated
Working with SSA staff, allied health professionals and caregivers to better support needs through professional consultation and case discussions in adapting existing interventions for application in local context based on research and trends
Lead MT/AHP and SPED Educator in training and coaching implementation within SSAs

Support TA team in ESLP implementation catered to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs, inclusive of PBS, PBC, and other systemic supports
Support training to help equip staff and caregivers in relevant areas for supporting clients in SSA and community settings
Co-develop practice guidelines and SoPs to support ESLP implementation and use of best practices across SSAs
Lead discussions and collaborate with SSAs on change management, ESLP implementation and sustainability planning, including resource allocation and integration into routine practice
Provide updates on progress, changes and sustainability planning of ESLP implementation across SSAs
