Brief introduction of yourself 

I am an educational psychologist and a proud alumnus of CPH! Outside of work, I am a husband and a father of two boys.  

How long were you at CPH (which years) and what did you do at CPH?  

I was with CPH for 7 years and 7 months, between the years of 2015 and 2022. During this period, I was deployed to SSAs serving clients in the programmes of DSLS and EIPIC.   

Fun fact: When I joined CPH, I only had one colleague and that was Peter! 

Where are you now? What was your journey to getting to where you are now?  

I am now a 'direct hire’ of AWWA, dividing my time between DSLS and EIPIC. When I was still a CPH-deployed staff, AWWA DSLS was the place I spent most of my time at. I had fond memories and friendships here, so when it was time to return to the social sector, AWWA was a natural choice.  I feel very honoured and humbled that AWWA’s management has entrusted me to be the Reporting Officer for the CPH psychologists deployed to AWWA. To me, this is an affirmation of the training and exposure that CPH has provided.      

What was something about CPH that you have kept with you (e.g., values, friendships, memories, lessons etc.) 

My friends at CPH have seen me through some important milestones in my life. Whether they were transitions in my personal life or at work (such as switching deployment sites), I’ve been very heartened that I’ve had friends walking the journey with me to share my joy and feel my frustrations. Every companion along the way made the load a little lighter and every success was a testament to the strength of the team behind me.     

Any advice or words of encouragement for CPH colleagues?  

The caring and supportive culture at CPH is a very precious and rare one. I hope everyone cherishes your time there and help to maintain the culture.
