A/P Vincent Ng
“横眉冷对千夫指,俯首甘为孺子牛”
Translated, it means: "To bullies and those who abuse power, we must look them in the eye resolutely without fear. For the disenfranchised and vulnerable, we must toil and go beyond.”
Associate Professor Vincent Ng serves as the Dean of the School of Social Work and Social Development at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). He brings extensive leadership experience in the social sector, having served as Chief Executive Officer of Allkin Singapore from 2012 to 2025.
Vincent contributes actively to the socio-healthcare sector through various board and committee appointments. He serves on the boards of Allkin Singapore, Aces Care Ltd and Community Psychology Hub Ltd, and chairs the MediFund Committee of the National Neuroscience Institute. He is also a council member of the Families for Life Council and serves on the SkillsFuture Tripartite Taskforce, Social Work Advisory & Accreditation Board, and the National Centre for Infectious Diseases Resilience Fund Committee, among other voluntary appointments.
Vincent believes that Community Psychology Hub plays an important role in advancing professional excellence and sector capability within Singapore’s social service landscape. He highlighted CPH’s work in psychological services and its partnerships with social service agencies, which contribute to strengthening support for persons with vulnerabilities and their families. He was inspired by CPH’s commitment to advancing both practice and impact, and looked forward to supporting the organisation’s continued growth, innovation and contribution to the sector.
Vincent holds a PhD in Social Work from the National University of Singapore and was appointed a Social Service Fellow by the National Council of Social Service in 2015. In 2017, he received the Outstanding Social Worker Award from the Singapore Association of Social Worker
